The STOP Cervical Cancer Campaign is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health’s National Cancer Control Program, Kenya’s National Cancer Institute, Women 4 Cancer and other civil society organizations who have joined forces to profile cervical cancer as a growing public health concern in Kenya. Women 4 Cancer acts as the coordinating Partner of the STOP Cervical Cancer Initiative.
The STOP Cervical Cancer Initiative represents a collaborative effort of diverse and multi-sectoral organizations working under the Cervical Cancer Committee of the National Technical Working Group for Cancer Prevention, Screening and Early Diagnosis in the Ministry of Health, with an aim of eliminating cervical cancer in Kenya. The Committee is chaired by the National Cancer Control Program (NCCP), while the Women 4 Cancer Early Detection & Treatment serves as the Secretariat. The membership is open to other organizations working towards the same objective. Read more about it here
