By analyzing how healthcare is funded and how budgets are drawn up, we will have more opportunity to influence how the government prioritizes health spending. Main objective is to advocate for an adequate and sustained HPV Vaccine programme by the government and partners by the year 2022.
- Mapping out stakeholders and processes required for adequate and sustained programmes for HPV vaccination at national and county level.
- Identify what is required to motivate policy-makers to advance HPV vaccination on the budget agendas.
- Advocate for prioritization of cervical cancer as a budget item across the county and national governments.
- Developing the capacity of civil societies involved in cancer prevention and control to engage in budget processes and influence funding decisions for cancer response.
