Washuka is a finance professional with over 15 years’ progressive work experience with International Non-Governmental organizations (NGOs) within the East, West and South African regions. A specialist in development of strategic systems, procedures and implementation to improve efficiency.
Her expertise is in sustainable capacity development of local NGO’S and Community based organizations (CBO’s). She has hands on experience with major donor requirements such as DFID, EU, SIDA, EC, USAID and various Trusts & foundations.
She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and holds a Managerial level certificate for Certified Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Her other qualifications include; Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship from Strathmore Business school, Certificate for Pan African EMBA from IESE Business school (Spain) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.
