Raphael Kinuthia Mburu, is a Clinical Cytologist and Epidemiologist, a graduate of Kenyatta University, University of Nairobi and JKUAT Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases.

He is a member of International Epidemiology Association (IEA) and Society of Clinical Cytologists Kenya (SCCK). He has been a crusader of early screening and detection in prevention of cancers for over 20 years and has research interest in cervical cancer.

He is currently the Program Manager, Catholic Health Commission of Kenya. Formerly Projects Coordinator and a teacher of Epidemiology at Kenyatta University School of Medicine and School of Public health.
