Laureen Gibson, also known as L.G is a passionate philanthropist with a background in sales & marketing.
I joined Women 4 Cancer after a friend who is one of the founders invited me to one of their events and that was the beginning of my passion. Since then, I have been actively involved in organizing fundraising events and medical camps.
The need to contribute and connect with the community gives me purpose to volunteer so as to make a difference in women’s lives.
In the process of educating and getting early screening done for fellow women gives me satisfaction and gratitude that fulfills the needs and wants in our community. My hobbies are golf and endless reading. This gives me an advantage as information is power that is based on controlling the information needed by others in order to reach an important goal. My purpose and dream is to one day wake up to cervical cancer free Kenya.☺
